About our Water, Ice and Shaved Ice

Water purification requires a multi-phased process that begins with charcoal filtering to remove chlorine from the municipal supply.  Water is then softened to remove dissolved mineral ions such as calcium and magnesium.  Next, a high pressure pump forces the water through the  reverse-osmosis membranes.  The membranes remove 99.8% of impurities from the water while leaving dissolved oxygen for a refreshing taste.
